This is the first template and has been in the idea stage for a long time. Every time I did a search on wordpress.org or by another template provider I was always looking for this one. Its what I like to think of as beautifully, functionally generic, based on best practices for layout and as close to a “one size fits all” template a I could design. It looks simple but lets look a little at the reasoning for the design decisions.

Menus:Room for a number of menus or one big long one down the left side. The left should be visible no matter what size monitor or screen resolution the site visitor has. There is also a spot for a short top menu in the blue bar which you can choose to use  or not.

Banner: An image across the top can be extremely effective in making a quick impression about your business. It is, of course, extremely important to choose an image that conveys something about your business. It doesn’t even have to be obvious – sometimes even suggesting something about the energy or excitement will do.

facebook link: If you have a facebook page for your business this template has built in support for it. If you don’t its easy enough to remove.

Call to Action: Whether you want this to say Contact us, Buy now or Make an appointment this is one of the most important parts of the page.

The design itself: This is a design that should wear extremely well over time. Its not apt to look dated as its based on classic lines and functional layout.
